Japan continues to invest more in Vietnam’s textile and garment sector

10 months of 2018: Fiber and yarn exports increased 13.17% in value over the same period in 2017    
According to preliminary statistics of the General Department of Customs, fiber exports in 10/2018 were 124.80 thousand tons worth over $ 335.35 million, up 8.59% in volume and up 7.81% in value over the same period in 2017. For the first 10 months of 2018, exports of fibers and fibers reached over 1.21 million tons with a value of over $ 3.33 billion, up 10.09% in volume and 13, 17% in value over the same period in 2017.
