Falling rubber price has pushed Vietnam Rubber Group to reduce production    
The supply surplus and a sharp decrease in the price of rubber has pushed the Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) to plan reducing its output.
More investment in the development of recycled plastics

DAG bought Acrylic Mica production line    
On October 10th, Dong A Plastic Group Joint Stock Co (DAG) signed a contract to acquire high technology Mica acrylic production line from Jwell Group worth over VND 20 billion. This is the breakthrough of DAG to soon release the first “made in Vietnam” acrylic mica.

Tan Mai Mien Dong Joint Stock Company and Elof Hanson Internation AB (Sweden) held a ceremony to implement the contract for the installation of a 150,000 tonne per year factory and technology transfer.
Plastic products exports up 20% in the first half of 2018    
Exports of plastic products were worth US$1.43 billion in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 20 per cent, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
